'Kill the Pirates' - Archery Competition. held on 11th March, XXXX (2006) at Bridgewater.
PICS from the day
Those Pesky pirates have returned (how dare they!). As Privateers for the Crown, the Gardian is calling on Innilgard's archers for hire!

We will pay Aztec Gold for those who help us defend Innigard's waters. Once 'boarded', we will be hiring Lights to send them packing! We urge the populace to view the spectacle from the 'beaches'.

Lord William de Blacwode, Lord Dafydd Wallraven, Lord Delamar, Lord Fionghuine all recieved Aztec gold as payment for their loyalty and skills. Lady Collette refused payment, as she was fighting for the honour of the King! Huzzah! A small but vocal number of Inniglard gentles watched the skirmish. The ship was decisively sunk with the best archer being Lord Delamar (his prize: target arrows). The combat archers then boarded the pirate ship and quickly dispatched the remaining crew, with Lord William doingl the most damage. (his prize- archery blunts.)

The day was started off with the archers being auctioned. We raised 125 gold for the Innilgard archers and liberated booty for the Crown.

The Owner, First Mate and Archery Captain of the Gardian wish to thank those who donated gifts and who helped on the day. Huzzzzah!

'First Mates Tourney' XL (2005) Held on 22nd October at Hazelwood Park.
The Gardian has spotted pirates in our waters!

As privateers for the Crown, we are calling on Innilgard's archers for hire! We will pay Aztec gold for archers to help us turn back (or even better yet - destroy) the pirates!
We also urge the populace to come and watch the spectacle from 'the beach' and bring a picnic lunch.
The archer with the most points will recieve a gift of thanks from the Gardian. Spectators also have a vested interest in the winner - with a prize up for grabs also.
The day will be started off with the Captaincy of the Gardian being auctioned at 10.30am. We are looking to hire archers at 10.00 am
The Owner, First Mate and crew of the Gardian wish to thank our Captain Sean McCarrum for his service over the following year. Huzzzzah!

William de Blacwode (Archery Captain of the Gardian) & Katerina da Brescia (Owner of the Gardian).

Greetings all,
The Gardian has a new Captain - congratulations to our Cap'n Toird! His purchase price was 31 gold - to go to the coffers of the Kingdom.
Thanks to all of the local archers who gave of their services to kill the scurrulous pirate dregs who dared enter the waters of Innilgard!
Your payment of Aztec gold was well deserved. Unfortuanately the populous was scared away by such tidings but be assured The Gardian, and our temporarily swelled ranks, did send them away in tatters!
Our most successful archer was Lord Delamar who also recieved a gift of thanks from the Gardian - 6 target arrows.
Hope to see more of you next year. There seems to be pirates in our waters at this season!

The First Mate's Tourney is to be a Rapier Auction Tourney. Monies raised will go toward Rapier in the Barony of Innilgard. As The Gardian is loyal to the Kingdom of Lochac, a tithe (1/10) of monies raised will go to the Kingdom Coffers for use by the Crown.
