Ordering of Innilgard Collegium CD's 1-4

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) was founded in the USA and has been in Australia for some years. I first joined in 1994.. In 2002, Lochac became a Kingdom. That year we are privileged to have New Zealand join our Kingdom.

In the SCA most members have 'personas' - mine is ' La Signora Onorata (The Honourable Lady) Katerina da Brescia' who is an Italian noblewoman in the 16thC. She was born in Brescia, escaped an arranged marriage, to become a Privateer. Having made her fortune and lived in Ferrara for a short time, she is now 'retired' in Fiorenze (Florence). She lives the life of a noble woman, married a younger man and has a beautiful daughter.

I have done Rapier (period fencing) and was Innilgard Baronial Rapier Marshal for some time (retired due to injury). I have served as Kingdom Minister Arts & Sciences Lochac, Baronial Arts & Sciences Officer and local Canton A&S Officer.  I am interested in costuming and accessories (garb making), glove making, embroidery, feasts, period camping, pagentry, tourneys, Calligraphy and Illumination. I have tried my hand at metal casting, jewellry making and bobbin lace making. I am currently researching 16th century tailoring techniques, cartography, period ship navigation, practicing my silverwork and inkwork . I am trying to concentrate these days on Florentine female dress and Men's Elizabethan attire, along with my scribes and drawing. (yeah, right!)

I am currently protege to Mistress Aislinn de Valence (Innilgard) and was at one time apprenticed to Mistress Oonagh O'Neill.

I am a member of the College of Scribes (Journeyman), Painters & Limners Guild of Lochac ( a new Guild), Worshipful Company of Broider's of Lochac (Journeyman) and the Guild of Tailors, Haberdashers and Mercers and hoping for the formation of the Seafarer's Guild..... (anyone??)

The Goode ship The Gardian is a privateer loyal to the Crown of Lochac.

La Signora Onorata Katerina , known also as Black Kat, though retired from the Privateer life, has retained ownership of her privateer ship The Gardian, berthed at the Port of Innilgard.

Black Kat is the Pilot & Navigator of the The Gardian.

The Captaincy of said ship will be auctioned annually to raise money for the Crown. I encourage other SCA seafarer's to promote their ships and possibly to auction off their Captaincy, annually, as a fundraiser (and a way to pay their tithe to the Crown, as Privateers). See the Gardian website for more details!!
