CASA VIOLA - EVENTS ATTENDED IN 2010

 Viscountessa Lucrezia Lorenz has now returned (for now) from living overseas in Drachenwald.

Auction Tourney for La Prova Dura  - February, 2010.
This event was a heavy tourney where the fighters were auctioned. Several local artisans donated items for the winners.
Money went to funding fighters from other Kingdoms to attend the event. Duchess Sir Mari and Duke Sir Hauvoc attended La Prova Dura in October.

Gummeracha Medieval Faire 1-2 May, 2010.
Viscountessa Lucrezia, La Signora Onorata Katerina, Lord Dafydd and Lord William attended the Faire and helped out in the A&S/information tent and the rapier display.

Newcomer's Feast: The Wayward Herald Tavern Feast: College of Blessed Herman. May, 2010.
Lord William, Lord Dafydd, Morgan and I attended the returning Wayward Herald Tavern Feast (I missed them!) and had a great time. Dafydd challenged William to a boffer fight, as he tried to abscond with one of Morgan's gnocci. Morgan later challenged Dafydd to a boffer fight as well.

Great Southern Gathering: October, 2010.
This was the second GSG event. The first was held in Victoria, this year's in Innilgard and next year in Ynys Fawr. More pictures are on the Innilgard website;



Lord Dafydd attended classes including making Khumihino braid... I am looking forward to some flat braid garters... Lord Dafydd at one of the Italian rapier style classes held by ibn Jelal.

Lord William learning some new tactics...		 Lord William fought in the first Cut and Thrust tourney to be held on mainland Australia. One other has been faught in the Crescent Isles (NZ)

La Signora Onorata Katerina ran two classes: this one is on making woven/thread covered buttons.
