Recreated by La Signora Onorata Katerina da Brescia.

My first option was for a partlet needs of two layers. with a guibone of 2 layers. I made this giorgeria so that the front overlapped to provide continuous protection and comply with the rapier rules. The giorgeria the upper body. It is worn over the camicia, under the sottana (dress) and Giubone (doublet). It can also be worn as a winter partlet.

I later redesigned the outfit to make it cooler and for easier dressing and removal of the partlet. The upper body was now to be covered by a black velvet partlet, much like Tudor partlets which are worn over the dress.
