This is based on the method used in The Tudor Tailor,
however I using taping which is more commonly found in Italian
hairstyles.
- plait the ribbon into them
- wrap the braids up and over and pin at the top
- pull the ribbon across at the bottom to the other side and
start taping up to the top.
- I do a small bow and hide it.
- this can be decorated with jewels, bows etc.
This gives me the higher positioned hair plait, with my hair not
being long enough to do it by itself.
